Have you ever been persistent? When I was about 10 years old, I was very persistent about learning how to play the piano. Even though I gave up learing it when I was 13 years old and now I don't know how to play the piano, before that time, I really tried hard. Learning how to play the piano is very hard to amateurs. Every day I went to the piano tuition, and practiced a lot even though my teacher wasn't watching me. Few months later, my parents ordered me to play the piano in home. So I did, but they weren't seemed satisfied. They said, "You have to improve your skills. Practice more." So I decided to practice harder to make them very pleased. I played the piano at least once a day even though there was no time to play because of lots of homework. My tuition teacher seemed so pleased about that.
about an year later, I was very pleased because my skills' level became much higher than before. So I showed my piano skills to my parents, and they seemed very satisfied. I was really happy, and tried harder and harder. But about two years later, I felt boring about playing the piano. And also there was a lot of homework because I had many tuitions. So I gave up learning how to play the piano. But as a result, I regret that. If I didn't give up, maybe I still play the piano well.

ReplyDeleteI think you were confused about this assignment. You weren't suppose to write about the story. You were suppose to tell me a story about a time that YOU were persistent about something. For example, NamHoon wrote about the time he learned to ride a bike, whereas Ken wrote about learning to skate. Can you please revise this to fulfill the correct task? Thanks.
